Congratualtions Junior Marshals!

Congratulations! Your hard work has placed you in an elite group of young men and women. Junior Marshals are to be the face and hands of William A. Hough High School. They should arrive early to both graduation services at the set times. Before both events, Junior Marshals shall be positioned at the entrances to greet attendees, hand out programs, assist with seating, and answer questions. They shall lead the graduates into and out of the Arena during the procession both at the beginning and ending of Commencement. During both services, Junior Marshals will have reserved seating behind the graduates.

Guidelines:

  1. Please check over the calendar with your parents and let us know immediately if you are not able to attend graduation rehearsal or graduation.  We will need to find someone else to fill your role.

  2. No cell phones out at any time during a meeting or rehearsal. During graduation cell phones should be turned off until after the ceremony is completed and you have exited the Arena

  3. No gum chewing while acting as a Junior Marshal.

  4. Appropriate dress is required for both services so dress conservatively. White gowns will be made available to you to go over your clothes but collars, shoes, and parts of your pants/dress or legs may still show.

* Hair presents a neat appearance – no un-natural colors or extreme hairstyles.
* No Boots, flip flops, open toe or tennis shoes at either ceremony for men or women.

See Ms.Graves and Mrs. Waddell for further information.
